About Us

This club was conceptualized way back in 1928 from the enthusiasms of pioneers with a simple and noble aim of promoting swimming, water polo and life saving in catering to the needs of the local communities.

After the two world wars, in 1952, the Chinese Swimming Club Properties Ltd. was formed to raised funds and financed the purchase of land and build the pool and Club building. [Bear in mind that members of the Chinese Swimming Club Properties Ltd. are automatically members of the Chinese Swimming Club, Penang.]

Through the spirit, determination and courage of the founding members who unselfishly gave their effort, time and resources, Chinese Swimming Club, Penang established itself till today.
